Ecological, sustainable, luxurious – the Porto collar from Hunter embodies the successful symbiosis of innovation, craftsmanship perfection and sustainability like no other. A pleasantly fragrant syrup is obtained from the leaves of Mediterranean olive trees, a by-product of olive cultivation. This serves as a sole tanning for the robust cowhide leather from the Porto series. The patented extraction of the tannin wet-green® OBE is particularly gentle on humans, animals and the environment thanks to renewable raw materials. The tannin is awarded the Dermatest seal as very good, the Cradle to Cradle certificate in gold and the Health Certificate material in platinum. This means that the so-called olive leather® embodies the luxury of an ecologically sustainable lifestyle. The simple design of the collar highlights the unique character of the leather. Thanks to the double curved workmanship, Porto fits hardly noticeably on the dog’s neck like a second skin. The soft edges created by turning over the leather are gentle on the skin and fur of the four-legged friend. At first glance and without knowing the unique manufacturing process of Olivenleder®, PORTO hardly attracts attention. At second glance, the love for it is all the greater, because the purely vegetable-tanned and handmade accessory is equally a “hidden jewel” and a pioneer on the way to a better world. Note: Our leather is made as gentle as possible. In the case of dyed leather, there may be slight slight decreasing discolouration.
