The Ruffwear Switchbak Harness is an everyday dog harness that is easy to put on and comfortable for dogs to wear. The harness features two flat-fitting, expandable side pockets for storing everyday items such as dog waste bags, shoes and other what you need for walking, hiking or around town. Two leash attachment points – a strong aluminium V-ring on the back and a reinforced webbing loop on the chest – allow for safe, controlled guidance of the dog. Thanks to lightweight materials, streamlined design and incorporated foam pads, the multi-purpose harness is comfortable. Dogs of all sizes can carry trail and everyday essentials. Five adjustment points allow for a custom fit. Reflective details such as the zippers, stripes and tonal reflective prints ensure good visibility in low light conditions, keeping your dog highly visible day and night. With the flat handle on the back, lifting and supporting is easy. It is recommended that your dog carry no more than 25% of their body weight in the side pocket. If your dog is not used to carrying loads, start with a light load and increase the weight when your dog gets used to carrying the backpack. Switchbak harness is available in 4 sizes. Choose the best size based on your dog’s chest circumference (measured at the widest part of the ribcage). X-Small: (43-56 cm/17-22 in); Small: (56-69 cm/22-27 in); Medium: (69-81 cm/27-32 in); Large/X-Large: (81-107 cm/32-42 in). For intermediate sizes, please choose the larger size. Available in Granite Gray with Aurora Teal color accents, Blue Moon with Hawaiian Sunset color accents, or Red Sumac with Campfire Orange color accents.
